Evening Main Stage Concerts will take place April 23-25, 2020, at UNC’s brand new Campus Commons! Concerts begin at 4:30 & 7:30 pm (Thursday and Friday), and 4:30 pm (Saturday). 1959: An Epic Year in Jazz with NEA Jazz Master Benny Golson

After Hours Performances:

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings following the main stage concerts, the Festival presents intimate after hours sessions. These sessions are held just two blocks from the Union Colony Civic Center.

After Hours jazz sessions will be held at the Moxi Theater at 802 9th Street, Suite 200 on the southwest corner of 8th Avenue and 9th Street. These sessions are free, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All ages are welcome, and the room is non-smoking. The music starts at approximately 10:15 pm (Thurs & Fri) and 7:15 pm (Sat).

2020 School Group Performances:

The UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival will feature the performances of college, high school, middle school, and elementary school jazz groups on April 23-25, 2019 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. All school group performances are free and open to the public. Please check back this Spring for the full Festival schedule!

What day will my group perform?

  • Vocal groups perform on Thursday.
  • College Big Bands perform on Saturday. College Combos perform on both Friday and Saturday.
  • High School and Middle School Big Bands and Combos perform on both Friday and Saturday.

Educational workshops will take place April 23-25 between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. These workshops will include Q&A Sessions hosted by our featured Main Stage Concert artists and educational clinics presented by the Festival’s many artist/clinicians. All educational workshops are free and open to the public. Please check back one week prior to the festival for an updated workshop schedule.
